Managing Your Own Bees for Maximum 1-D-1 Tax Savings in Texas
About Course
As property owners in Texas, we all want to reduce our tax bill and save money. Using bees for 1-D-1 agricultural valuation is a great way to reduce your tax costs However, if you’re paying 70 or 80% of your tax savings to someone who is managing your bees for you, you’re not really saving that much. This course is a simplified guide on how to manage your bee colonies for 1-D-1. The focus is on minimziing your costs and management time and maximizing bee health, colony survival and overall tax savings. This is not a comprehensive course on beekeeing. We don’t go into bee biology or history. We don’t teach how to maximize honey production or make lip balm from bee’s wax. We teach the nuts and bolts needed to get you started on the right direction towards sustainable, healthy bee colonies that keep you compliant with the requirements of 1-D-1 and save you as much money in taxes as possible.
Your are not expected to have any knowledge of beekeeping. We do expect:
- You are willing to work with bees in proper protective gear
